Why I switched from Symantec Endpoint to Bitdefender GravityZone Advanced Business Security

I was a happy Customer Symantec's Endpoint Security for small business. I signed up for an account on Symantec's website, purchesed a license, deployed it on my server and that's it. Once a month I got a notification about a blocked intrution attempt, and once a year I logged into Symantec's website to renew my liecense. They had my credit card for life and I had no problem with it.

I don't know if it has to do with Broadcom purchesing Symantec, but they decided to retire Symantec Endpoint for small business and change it to SES (Symantec Enterprise Security). Doing so they also decided my credit card is not good enough for them and sent me off to one of their "partners". I left a message with that "partner" and he called me back and said I'll be better off with one of Symantec's competitors. Isn't that a security breach on Symantec's part? I mean, if they can't protect their own business interest…

Anyways, next on my list was ESET. They called me back and were really nice, but eventually said they still need to hook me up with a "partner". That "partner" didn't call back.

So I set off to look for a security solution that won't have me involved with "partners" I won't have a my own business's partners.

After reading some reviews I decided to give Bitdefender GravityZone Advanced Business Security a chance. Setup was a breeze. Logging into the GravityZone website is fast and the interface on that website is clean and comprehensive. I've been using it for almost a week now on 4 machines (1 of which is a server) and it doesn't nag me at all. During the first whole system scan it found 3 malwares that passed Symantec by and removed them.

So if you are also one of those Symantec left hanging, and you don't want to be handed down to "partners" – Get Bitdefender GravityZone Advanced Business Security.
